These terms apply to getsensyx.com (the “Site”), operated by SIXPINES PRODUCTS INC (“SENSYX”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to them.
SENSYX products are hand-held measuring instruments for locating a leak you already suspect. They are switched on, moved and read by a person.
They are not gas alarms or carbon monoxide alarms. They do not monitor an unattended space and must never be relied on to warn sleeping or unattended people. Where continuous protection is needed, install a permanently mounted alarm intended for that purpose.
SENSYX products are not intrinsically safe. Do not use them where an explosive atmosphere may already be present.
A reading, or the absence of one, does not establish that a space or a system is free of gas. Use the products only as described in the user manual, and have any leak repaired by a qualified technician.
Descriptions, specifications and images are provided for general information and may change without notice. If anything on the Site differs from the user manual supplied with your product, the manual applies.
We do not sell through this Site. Links marked “Buy on Amazon” take you to Amazon.com, where the purchase is made from the seller shown there and is governed by Amazon’s terms, including its returns policy. SENSYX products are also sold through other retailers; a purchase from any of them is governed by that retailer’s own terms and returns policy, not by these terms. Our limited warranty applies to the product and is not affected by where you bought it.
SENSYX products carry a two-year limited warranty, set out in full on our Support page and in the user manual. Nothing in these terms limits that warranty.
The Site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SENSYX is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
SENSYX® and the SENSYX logo are trademarks of SIXPINES PRODUCTS INC. The text, images and documents on the Site may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our written permission. User manuals may be downloaded and printed for personal use.
Linked sites, including Amazon, are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
The Site has no accounts, forms or checkout. If you email us, we use what you send only to respond to you and to handle any warranty claim, and we do not sell it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
